Don't buy these aftermarket mirrors (a quick heads up)

When the LCML was active (ca. pre-cambrian era) there was a Canadian guy selling 70 series mine truck take-offs and for a good price. I bought three pair. Of the two sets that I put to use I installed on our FJ60s. One set has been in use for ca. 25 years, the other 20, so a cumulative 45 years. Cumulative mileage on these mirrors is at least 500k. These mirrors are still rock solid at 2F Land Cruiser top speed (< 80 mph).

Message, if it's not clear, skip the aftermarket and go OEM.

for what it's worth, i went the original toyota mirror route. expensive, but so sweet. i'm thinking that if it's something you look at or use every day, get the good stuff if you can. same said for a bed, a tv, or a shower.

Ordered these off eBay. Will post my results/feedback when they arrive! Weren’t too much more than a lot of the aftermarket ones I was seeing.
