That's really nice work!

I went to the junk yard that had the E36 seats with my 40. Good dude, hung out with me as I took out my stock seat and test fitted the BMW seat. Tracks are too narrow and still sat too high. It was worth the adventure with my Boys, but ultimately decided on waiting.

Couple of questions: Are those the Corbeau Elite seats pictured? Those are my next option as I think the heavy bolstering on the PROCAR Rally's will make folding forward even worse than it is now for access to the rear. PROCAR Pro 90s are an option, less bolstered, but look closer to stock...

Also, are those purpose built covers? The challenge I'm having is that all of the gray seats out there appear to be too light in color for me. I'm really wanting a dark charcoal gray. If the covers come in that color that might be a good option.

Thanks,
LR

The customer ordered just the frames with pad from Corbeau then order Cordura nylon ( the real trademark ) material and had an upholsterer build the covers. The material feels bulletproof. I'm pretty sure it will out last anything any aftermarket maker seat offers

Seats from a 2004 Sebring convertible. Had them recovered and the mounts were fabricated to keep the seats at the stock height. There are 4 bolts holding the mounts to the floor. The drivers seat is electric adjust and had electric lumbar adjustments. Also both have built-in seat belts which take away the need for a belt hinged on the roll bar.
