I was looking at the log home thread and wondered if anyone has done a dome. Geodesic, Hexa-dome or other?

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful place. I do like the vaulted ceiling. I like the swimming hole too. I have a spot where a spring comes out and even in the summer it is cold as all get out. Hope his is warmer.

It's plenty warm in any season you'd be likely to swim or wade in it. The water in it just seeps out of the hills on both sides; not a deep spring.
You should check out the Oregon's 9-dome Hobbit House built by a "mime". Very cool example of what is possible with Dome homes. Really love the looks of the architecture and creativity of the dwelling.
