Bought a new muffler yesterday from a gent closing down a muffler shop.
Anyway I asked if he had a offset muffler for a Toyota FJ45 Landcruiser with a stock 2F with a six banger. The only muffle he had left that he said would work is what is seen in the photos. I'm not completely wise on all mufflers but as I remember the only real thing is that the in/out pipe (tube) matches what is on the vehicle. I have 2" exhaust tube and this is 2" I.D.
The size is 4" shorter that what I have on the truck now (see picture new muffler box). I remember the days when the FJ40s mufflers looked like 10 gallon water tanks.
Can I assume that this muffler will be okay to install? I am just concerned about back pressure problems. For $20 it's not a big loss if not. (no returns)o_O
Cheers

I can't think of any reason it won't work just fine. I agree with CBMontgo
