Does anyone in our club have a 3D printer or know CAD?

I need to make a simple spacer for my ARB Carling Switch panel as it just doesn't fit flush into the old dash radio opening due to the Hurricane Air blower.

Does anyone dabble in CAD or have access to a 3D printer? I was originally going to have a buddy cut a spacer out of acrylic with his CNC machine, but that's not an option right now.

I can draw it in Autocad for you, I use it daily. If they are the switches I'm thinking of I may have them modeled already.

There is also a free 3D modeling program I use that works pretty well:

UNR has a facility that may help with printing or CNC:

The Generator is another resource that may be of help:

If all else fails I know a machinist that is usually pretty reasonable on pricing. (This might be your best bet IMHO)

It sounds like this month's meeting is going to be canned due to a sick Prez.

This is the panel I'm talking about. It's an ARB 4 position Carling panel.

It fits in the existing un-cut radio hole but I had to wrap a couple layers of electrical tape around it as it fits too loose. I'd like to space it out ~1/2" to get better clearance between the wiring and the HVAC ducting.

Good news on the meeting. I think he has the panel and needs a spacer.
