Thank you for the information. To flip it around, what are the drawbacks at going for the extended? Always better to buy/cry once! Thinking the 700s would probably be fine, just want to explore all options, and gather info before making this big of a decision! Thank you very much!

To get the extended travel, you have to run the doff drop kit and new UCAs, so added cost. Otherwise no drawbacks. If you never lift a tire off the ground, you won't need the extra travel
