DIY Roof Rack: The H-Moose!

i am wondering if anyone has seen or built a roof rack system using alumn ramps but it is built such that if you are out wheeling and NEED to use a ramp to get through a soft spot or odd ledge.. you could unload unleash the rack and use the ramps then put back on top?

anything like that you dogs have seen?

I've seen racks that ahve ramps mounted on the side for such purposes. I believe they were on rigs from our SA brethren.
