DIY: Rewire Toyota factory elec winch (Aisin) with Warn controller

I am trying to wire up my OEM winch. The PO labeled all of the connectors except for one. It’s a two-wire plug on the original magnetic solenoid. Is this for ignition power? Because the winch will only operate with the ignition on?

Did you figure out of this is ignition power? My LHD HDJ80 doesn’t seem to have this and I am trying to mount a JDM Electric Winch.

In other words, how do you wire the control leads on the aftermarket solenoid? Just +12-volt Ignition Power and Ground?

Correct, one goes to ground and the other to either ignition, or a manual switch of your choice. The solenoid is basically a big relay.
