Updated: These reports are disputed by members who recognize these as existing foreign market offerings, suggesting that this is not new, and very likely will not be impactful to the US Domestic market.

That just looks like the Gulf States high-end trim model. It's basically their version of the LX570, but sold by Toyota. See the integrated side step? That's from the LX.

I seriously doubt that we will get that here.

Darn! I got a little excited by the title, but as it turns out that is the 2019 VXR front spoiler. I am sure the 300 isn’t far off now. It will be exciting to see what it turns out to be!

Yeah that's not a "facelift", thats just a lower fascia that's been available in other markets for a few years, tacked on to the bottom of the normal LC bumper.

Edit: I'm more and more pissed off the longer I stew on it. I am done even thinking about the 300 Series or the future of the 200 Series. I have mine and I love it. Call me when there is a Tech Forum for the 300 Series sometime in 2025.

Seems like the kind of thing these Trade Rags would understand and be aware of. I apologize for the click-bait, as my knowledge of the foreign market styles is extremely limited. I was excited to see what looked to me like something new, even though I didn't like it. I'll be discounting Gear Patrol on my Google Alerts for "Land Cruiser" "300 Series" going forward. My bad.

You see these all the time in the Middle East and SE Asia. Some of the bumpers and side skirts make my eyes water but they do seam to please the local buyers.

In my frustration I reached out to the author of the article at Gear Patrol and shared the link to this thread. It appears he is also the Automotive Editor for the site. I was pleasantly surprised that he responded very quickly. Here is his response:

"Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out about this. Looks like you're right; I deeply apologize for the error, and I'll be sure to correct this immediately.

Appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I hope we can earn your trust back.

Best,

Will"

Personally I appreciate you sharing. Had that photo actually caught the next gen it would have been fun to see. The editor certainly should have vetted the information he was putting out though. I see you reached out to him and it is good that he acknowledged his mistake.

Mistakes: We all make them. I try not to judge mistakes too harshly, but I do keep a keen eye on how people respond to them. Acknowledge and Learn or Ignore and Repeat. The path we choose says a lot more about us than words ever could. And it speaks to a lot more than meets the eye.

Those pictures came from @Hamad1Two3 Login • Instagram on Instagram. It’s the 2021 facelift, spotted in a Japanese port (as previously mentioned). It appears to be a Middle East spec. The wheels and stripes are the same as the 2020, while the front bumper is similar to the 2019-20. They’re removing a few colors, as well.

This is not a facelift. News outlets like to over sensationalize.
Yes, its been slightly updated ( the front body kit is new, it might look similar to what's currently available in select markets, but its actually updated slightly. The grille is also different to what's currently available).
These photos were originally posted on an instagram account I follow ''@hamad1two3'' and he never called it a facelift.
It's just the typical year to year Middle East spec model updates. We have been getting new body kits and grilles every year.

Here is the differences between the current 2020MY and 2021MY for the Middle East

Any and all info is good to review... no harm, no foul...

WE WILL SEE THE NEW "300 Series" the day TOYODA wants us to it.

The SPEC's will be released 2-3 months after the first viewing.

The PRICE $$$ will be released publicly a month or so after the SPECS.

TOYODA rarely if ever slips up on leaks...

If your a dealer or SEMA type that may have preview access, you sign your professional life away not to take any sneaky photos at the secret hotel ballroom parties.

If you work with Ford, apparently your professional life is worth that much... LOL... Bronco...
