I needed to pull one out for replating. Haven't pulled that box off the shelf for YEARS, just keep tossing them up there. Sorted into four piles. Right to left.
1. FJ25- no part number-oval loop
2. FJ40- metal crown over dipstick tube-60030
3. FJ40/55-rubber ring to seal dipstick tube-still solid wire-60031
4. FF40/55/60- rubver ring-blade type stick-61010

OOO you got those dip stick tubes for sale?

What the year brake on the 2f? 76-80 , 80-87 ?

Will the 2f ones swap, ie.....same length?

All my hard-to-find parts are available to those who do regular shopping at MORE, not just the things they can't get anywhere else. It's survival economics. Pays my bills and subsidizes my land use advocacy.

I don't know the answer to that. Many of the dipsticks came to me sans engines in my deal to acquire Midwest Landcruisers in 1990. What I do know is that the newer ones are shorter for a reason. I also know I have done some swapping around. It's been a simple matter of doing an oil change, then striking the dipstick with a hacksaw blade wherever MY optimum oil level turns out to be.

If Mark doesn't have the one you need, they were still available from Toyota a couple months ago.
