Dimension needed

I need the inside dimension between rear wheel wells. If anyone has a chance to measure it up, i would be greatly appreciated.

...hey that'd be swell!!! There may even be some of Vancouver Island's finest(-Lucky-of course!) in it for ya', if i ever get outta this s***hole! Cold you say... try -33C with the windchill this morning. The old Cummins 12valve was non-the-happy... Trying to stay sane thinking up things to do when i get home in another 3weeks.

I just measured 40 1/4", but this was with carpet in place. You probably will want to include a thickness allowance for the carpet if you need a metal-to-metal distance.
