It's in the new digital gauge cluster. Is that on the digital gauge, or on the OEM display above the head unit? Mine shows up on the gauge, but not on the center console display.

For clarification, what I'm asking is if the display in my picture is working for you. Ever since I installed the digital cluster. The display in my picture is stuck at 99.9 MPG.It's in the new digital gauge cluster.
Yep, just realized it does not work anymore. For clarification, what I'm asking is if the display in my picture is working for you. Ever since I installed the digital cluster. The display in my picture is stuck at 99.9 MPG.
Is there the same for you? As I understand, that particular setting gets its information from the digital cluster.

Hmm, mine doesn't do anything when I click on the 1GR setting. Like it isn't editable or something. Do you also have 4 of the 1GR settings? Two say Off and two say On.This gauge cluster is mostly shipped configured for 1GR 4.0L V6 and 1KD diesel. For some reason the tach reads 33% low. Like 1500 is actually 2250 RPM.
To update the tachometer to read correctly you need to:
@M3GX
- Go to settings
- Scroll down to Protocol Update
- Enter password 4321
- Scroll down to 1GR off
- Press OK
- Check the tach reading. Mine shows correctly after this step.
- Scroll down to return
Also my version for comparison. Seems my app version is newer, but your protocol version may be newer. I'm going to load up your bin file and see if anything changesThis is my version

Think you could upload the original bin file somewhere and link it? Something must've broke after I renamed it from .pdf to .bin. the cluster recognized the file but failed the Update, and then blanked out the display. The startup animation happens, but blank screen after that. Gonna retry my original bin file, hopefully it starts working again.Seatbelt warning polarity was backward.
Need to update firmware.
Unfortunate cannot attach the BIN file here.
- Need USB drive formatted to FAT32
- Put the new firmware into the USB drive.
- Plug to USB port of the dash
- Turn power to IG2
- Unplug the USB once the dash reboot.
The second file attached is a bin file. Change the extention to bin once you download it to a USB drive.
