Found me a motor two hours away for decent price but its a 97 motor with 202k miles on it. What do I have to do to drop it in a 86 4runner 22 re 5 speed Intakes and exhuast sensors what's difrent

97 is a 2rz. Earlier was the 22re.

Son of a Bart Simpson mother onfbdjsiwuwuwuehehdudidhd. Dam thanks man I got excited for nothing

May just be better off ordering a new head and head gasket for the least amount of down time. Good luck finding one that's in good running condition.

I don't think he wants to do an engine swap that's involved since he just wants an engine wth a good head gasket

Yeah I just want plug and play. Almost to selling point. 86 4 runner 22 re . sat ten years. Replace fuel system from gas tank to fuel filter all new custom lines. Use to be a automatic now a 5 speed. Needs a heater core. Fender. Front rear bumper s passenger side wheel bearings and idlerarm . and the blown head gasket inthink fuel pressure regulator need replaced. Solid exfeppt for driver side rear fender lip. What would u all pay for it has bunch new parts . real wheel bearings. 3 year old flywheel clutchkit . fuel system injectors were cleaned by Mr injector but never changed pressure regulator. Fairly new altinator . new watterpump thermostat.think I replaced rear wheel cylenders and brake pads. O year needs right front caliper. Radiator was professionally cleaned and gone threw three years ago. To much to list

First pic is after I spun and stuck in a ditch some how messed driver side up nothing on left side got hurt. Right now grill is out of truck but u see the amount body damage it has.

So what u all think it worth . 5 speed 4.30 or 4.33 gearing in it I checked the code couple years ago use to be automatic

I hate to say it, but it would be a hard sell - blown head gasket - needs a bunch of stuff: heater core, fender, front & rear bumpers, passenger side wheel bearings, right front caliper, idler arm, and fuel pressure regulator.

It has value to you because you know the work you’ve done to it. Anyone looking at it is going to see how much they’ll have to tackle on it. They’re likely going to be looking at it as a parts truck.

Well next weekend . head gasket. Fuel pressure regulator be fixed bumpers I gota talk my buddy at weldnshop see how much for some square stock and make two for it but no biggie once i get head gasket on I decide what's gonna happen to it
