Differences between 5mge and 7mge

It looks like my 22re head gasket leak is getting worse. Before I go through rebuilding this engine, I want to explore my options for a straight 6.

I know both the 5mge and 7mge will nearly bolt in, But (other than the different bore/stroke) what is the difference between them? Do they both use the same fuel system? Same head design? Is one better than the other for a truck application?
