Hey guys, generally speaking... a wheel bearing noise is constant and not load dependent right? I think I have the beggining of a rear diff noise, comes on with power applied but it´s not loud but it´s a bit of a whir sound at speed... at low speed it a bit of a growl when you put on the power. Question... if this is diff noise, is it necessarily ring and pinion or could it just be bearings? Do these diffs tend to be noisy? I hate noises in my cars, drives me nuts.

Thanks
Mark...

If the sound changes on/off throttle its not wheel bearing. Sounds like diff. It could be pinion bearings. We stock bearing kits for them as well as ring & pinions. Cost will be much less if you fix it now vs later.
