anyone installed a tiny tach to measure rpm seperate to the ome? Does it work by measuring the pulse on a fuel injection line through the transducer?

I have (1hz), and a few others on here too. Seems to work well and yes, uses a transducer mounted around a straight bit of injection line.

Photos attached are from an install by another mud member, but mine is in the same place and is easy to see.

I ran one on an old Isuzu pup diesel I had. Worked great.
