I've had my 80 for almost 10 years. I've heard the expression before but never realized what exactly that meant. I do now. Now I get to tear into my front end and rebuild the birfs. This video is in Moab. I ended up wheeling the rest of the weekend and had a great time despite this.

I saw that video when he posted it. It was funny that he was able to see and pick up your nuts off the trail. I think you are supposed to leave breadcrumbs, not nuts that are important, in order to find your way back.

Not to nearly that extent but last week one of the nuts to my tie rod ends to my center link came off on me. luckily i was in town on a straight road going at slow speeds and I was able to get it to go towards a curb and drive up that I was able t make a trail repair to limp it to AutoZone to get a new castle nut to do a proper repair. Scared the living hell out of me though.
