Looking to get a carb, dizzy, and full desmog kit.
I have a 1987 fj60. I was wondering what the turn around would be and the prices. Do i send you my carb and dizzy or do you have a stock pile of parts that you rebuild as the demand dictates.

Hi Jim, saw in a post you said as fire or otherwise to get yur attention. Good idea. I was just wondering if you even got my dissy from the 10th of the month, I had emailed you. I know your a busy fellow, just inquiring. Possible I missed a response.

Dan, Yes, a dissy is here from Montani.
An email will be sent after it's checked out.
All other desmog parts orderes are shipped as of this AM.
We're getting a bit low on the EGR plugs, dunno if/when I'll be getting more of those.

Hey Jim -- finally getting closer to putting the carb i got from you on and wanted to know your opinion for the heat riser - leave it oem or put in a block off plate (also do you just recommend the 2 gaskets and heat riser and no rtv between the manifolds)

If it is working, then leave it alone.
If it has any issues that require separating the manifolds, then I would consider welding the butterfly shaft in the hot bypass position and installing the stainless steel solid plate from SOR.
It needs the thickness of 2 gaskets and a separator plate to get the half holes to line up on the manifold flange.

on the intake manifold - what attaches to the two small air things coming out of the intake manifold - one has black plastic tubes and the other is a metal funny looking with 2 metal tubes coming out of it -- trying to get this thing to run with the new carb and dizzy - Heath
also do you know of a good link so i can hook the hoses back up with your carb desmog and dizzy rebuild thanks

I would like to order the egr blok off. Where do I pay pal and how soon can it be shipped. Do you have carbs and dizzys for a 77 in stock or is it a long wait to have them rebuilt and shipped back?

No, I do not stock parts. I repair/service/rebuild Cruisers and components on a custom basis. It's a 3-4 week turnaround on carbs right now. Dissys are a little quicker, but odds are a 1977 dissy has a dead vac advancer, and they are disco'd, meaning most 75-80 dissys are now paperweights.

low idle at start up
hey jim everything installed from you - at start up now is very low rpm around 300 (would this be timing is off some - used a cheap harbor frieght timing light) but when warms up stays normal rpm range -- just wondering thanks
