Deleting Coolant Overflow Bottle

Deleting the bottle probably isn't the best option, but if you were to do so, you'd have to allow for expansion inside the radiator by running the level lower than you would otherwise. Possibly with the level at the fins, with a couple inches of space before the filler. I presume you'd want to do this when running at temperature, with the radiator cap off. You may also want a release-only type of radiator cap.

A lot of older vehicles didn't have expansion/overflow bottles. As long as it isn't leaking from your normal driving, nor overheating, there probably isn't an issue without it except for maybe the extremes (if you start to overheat, the overflow goes right on the ground).
