The first way we disabled AHC electronics and warnings:
Removed the two AHC fuses in driver kick panel
Removed fuse 25 (AHC) under engine hood
Result: no AHC warning, but "VSC OFF" and "VSC TRAC" warnings, Techstream reports "steering angle sensor," ongoing code
Then we reinstalled the two AHC fuses in the driver kick panel. Fuse 25 under hood was already removed. We pulled the three wire harnesses out of the AHC ECU that is immediately above the gas pedal.
Result: no AHC warning, no warnings of any other kind.
So the conclusion is that removing the two AHC fuses in the kick panel will also disable your VSC. If you want to keep your VSC, keep those fuses intact, and unplug the AHC ECU wiring harness.
