I’m trying to figure out the correct ohm range for my December 71’ fuel gauge. Sorry if this has been discussed before, I did try searching. Thanks!

Ohms values

3/69 to 9/72 is 110 ohms empty by 3 ohms full, but with a 7 volt drop

9/72-older had a 7 volt drop built-in, but that the 9/72-newer did not??? Perhaps Toyota built the 7 volt drop into the sender on the older models and built it into the gauge on newer models- - - I don't know. What I do know is it is easier for the 9/72-older vehicles to use the 177/33 electronic sender when using a stock tank and auxiliary tank with the older dash gauge because of the 7 volt drop (i.e. 177/33 without 7 volt drop evidently equals 110/3 with 7 volt drop according to Centroid).
