Merry Christmas everyone!

I'll meet you at the junction Scott and shoot for 8:45. I'm also coming from the same area. My friend bailed on me so I will be solo. STILL have not installed the CB, got to do that soon...

Count me out today. Too much sippy sippy last night.

I took a few pics from Anza. The pics are gps embedded so you can view them with google earth. Link to all the photos: Picasa Web Albums - kovsky - Anzo Borrego ...

It was a good time. We had a 60, 2 80's and a 100 on his first wheelin trip. Met up with VCCruzr too.

Did someone take the phone booth?? I saw the 4x4 monument that looks like a jeep but no phone booth. Maybe I was in the wrong spot. (the small specs are the 60, 80, and 100)

Nice pics. I have never been to that area... :o

What size / brand tires are on that first 80 and the 60? I like the black steelie stealth look.

Nice pics! Derrick your sage and black combo is sweet looking. Is that 100 lifted, and do you know what size tires they are running? All the rigs look soo clean.

that 100 looks very nice. great pictures. i hope to make it out to truckhaven one day

Brett,
You made it to the right spot and it looks like someone removed the phone booth. Sorry I had to bail out so early on you guys, it was nice meeting you all.

Zack,
Actually that is Brett's (kovsky) Cruiser. He went with the blacked out FJs as well and he's on 37s.

Great meeting you Derrick and thanks for navigating for us. So easy to get lost in those low areas.. Really cool area and I think next time I'll camp out there to get a better look around. That area is pretty big.

Yes, that 100 is lifted but I don't know the details. Scott will know though.

The 100 series has the OME 2.5" Medium w/ OME torsion bars and SLEE's T/C drop bracket on 285/75 16 BFG KM2s.... Much better ride than stock..

Brett it was good wheelin with you.. sorry for showing up late and dragging ass, but with all the kids they get bored with the wheeling and just want to get out and play!:)

Derrick, nice meeting you out there and playing guide for a short while. Funny thing was we ended up driving around in circles trying to get out of there and getting back to S22, its such a maze of canyons and washes!

Thanks Brett for posting up some really nice pics... We go pics but not that great.

Sorry folks the place was so up and down and in and out it was hard to get good action pics.... But damn it was fun..

Here is one of Derrick attempting to climb a steep sandstone step...

Me and my 80 in a really twisty section... thought I did body damage to the driver side... only scratched up the plastic fender flares..

Brett (Kovsky) on a solo mission looking for the phone booth, we stayed down the hill with the kids finding some petrified wood and other geological wonders...

My wife had the camera... and not much into taking pictures of wheeling.. she got more of the scenery and the kids and dogs... I know the others have some good pics and I'll get them up to share shortly.

Also, let me just say that pictures don't do this place justice.. they really take the depth out of the whole landscape.

Hoping to go back again to AB desert again in the near future!
