Not that I didn't appreciate the tape, but it is somewhat of a hastle. We found pizza rock and then gave up on the rest of 18. Hopefully after the spring when grass and shrubs start to grow around the trail it will be a little easier to follow.

I must say, Rausch must do what Rausch must do.. the owners sure are diversifying their income (wheelin, hunting leases, cell towers, windmills, logging)...... my take on it is this: go with the flow, the wheeling is always good and there are always challenging trails to build toward : )

And for the record, when we camped/wheeled in Feb. it was ambient 0 degrees with 40MPH wind= winchills well below zero...........

Believe me I'm not digging on Rausch. I love the place. What choice do we have but to go with the flow. I just think its a shame what the land owner has done with all the loging. Atleast they are select cutting. Like I said, it should be a lot easier to navigate in the spring. It is amazing how you can lose your bearings with LESS trees.

All right allright. It wasn't as cold. It was fierce windy though.
