Death Valley - Saline Valley Road Condition

I'll probably be doing DV on my way home from King of the Hammers in a three weeks.
I'm looking at maps and I think my best route to the Saline Warm Springs would be up 385, onto 190 and take the Saline Road Alternate.
That's the south entrance and I've never done that route.
I'm in a camperized Sprinter 170 4x4. Will that be a problem?

Also, what kind of condition is the road in? Last time I came and left from the north route and the washboard was terrible.
