Dealing with Wind Noise (1 Viewer)

Mine has crap seals and a diesel. I wear earplugs for the 30 min drive each way to work. Tape where the windshield meets the header under the caps "visor" made a noticeable difference. Worth making sure that area is sealed up good. I could feel air literally blasting in when sticking my hand up there against the cap before on the highway. I'm hopefully going to be starting the insulation/deadener/seals thing soon.. I expect some good improvements but physics and reality are at times quite inflexible...

Do you have a fan clutch or direct drive? Metal or plastic? When I swapped the metal fan on my F engine to a direct drive plastic one, there’s tons of fan noise. Just another source for you to look at.
Viscous clutch on a plastic fan. I also have a 1uz v8, so, to be fair, that's a lot quieter than an F, especially lower down in the Rev range. Although my old 2F was buttery smooth at idle too
