Dead Blower Motor......Help!

So i drove the cruiser home form work the other night. Had the air on refresh just to get some circulation going. Everything working fine. Got up the next day and the blower wouldnt work at all. Any ideas. i Checked all the fuses and they are fine. All the wiring seems fine. ON top of the blower there is a small type of black cylinder with a wiring going in at each end. one end seems corroded but everything else seems ok. Thanks

Have you tried the motor on both hi and lo settings?

If it works only on hi, but not low, you need a new resistor.

If it works not at all, it may be your corroded wire/connector, which you should fix in any event, since it will increase the resistance and perhaps cause the issue.

I have tested blowers by unplugging them at the plug nearest the blower in the engine compartment, and applying 12 volt directly (as well as grounding) to the different settings. It is how I know my blower works, athought the switch in the cab is not hooked up on my '45.
