I stopped there this morning and picked up a couple packs of some military rations to try out this weekend, some Hungarian Goulash and Jambalya (the latter one comes with its own flameless heat pack), $12.99 each.

What really interested me there was these awesome storage boxes, Stormguard I think was the name. Completely watertight, durable plastic sealed containers, various sizes. But holy s*** are they expensive! 350 bux for the larger ones.

The Jambalya, plasticy type package, with the heat pack included inside, says Property of US Government.

The other one has completly different packaging, think heavy brown paper lunch bag, and does not say anything on it except Lunch Menu 1, Hungarian Goulash. NOT FOR RESALE:eek:

Craig,I have to disagree with you.I lived on M.R.E's back in my back-pack/survival days.I found the U.S. ones to be much better in most cases. But Jeff for just a couple of buck more M.E.C. carries some dehydrated meals that are far superior then any M.R.E.
