Dash screw knob (2 Viewers)

Anyone know the thread info for this dash screw knob? I stripped the threads on one. Ordered and received a new one.
I need to tap the bracket.

I did the same thing. IIRMC it was 8 x 1.25. But see if someone can also confirm.

Time to shop for another tool. If this isn't the last time you plan on working on your 40 then one of these sets will surely be a help.

@B y r o n …duly noted. My tap and die kit is smaller however I did have 8x1.25
Thank you @JDNs78FJ40 …8x1.25 was correct…tried the die in the good bracket before proceeding.
Problem solved. 70 degrees in the panhandle, time for a drive.
