I need one..............I dont care what damn color it is cause I can paint it
Anything can be done, just just have to dive into it. I have been thinking about doing the same thing to my 1987. I want to put a 02 interior in my 87 along with engine, trans and transfercase.
what year did the widen the 4runner?

i think the gen 3 (96-02) are too wide.
im looking to do the whole dash. in black, i plan on doing my int in all black.
i saw a mini truck with this conversion this morning driving down the road, i should have stopped him to ask but i was running late.

You probably won't find a write up on it, I've seen a few rigs with newer interiors grafted in. Probably easiest if you have a complete donner cab to pull the parts from, so you can swap mounting tabs and brackets as well as needed.

If everything goes as planning this summer, I'll have an entire dash available, in that God-awful red color. You're welcome to it, for the cost of postage.
BTW, do you still want that alternator harness? I've looked and looked, I can't find that bracket. But the harness is sitting here next to me, PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail.
that is one thing you for got while you were here, the alternator brackets.
