Dash lights, anyone?

As far as I can tell, I'm supposed to drive in complete interior darkness at night. Instrument cluster lighting is very dim. Is there supposed to be some sort of secondary dash lighting so I don't have to blindly feel for the right auxiliary switch? It's truly annoying to go for the wipers and turn on the fan instead. I'm a shallow individual and try to avoid being annoyed at all costs

Try the dimmer switch
Also sounds like you have bulbs burnt out

Dimmer switch works and on full. New bulbs, all working. I'm referring to the little light in the dash pad that illuminates the pull switches, kinda like a license plate light. I could fix the existing one if I could find one. Sigh. Forever looking for parts.

Ah, sounds like the green filtered light on my 40. Shouldnt be too hard to wire in a festoon holder activated by the headlight switch.

Well, if you don't care about keeping the dash stock.


Led strip lighting is easy and cheap to work with.
One could install some illuminated pull switches, but that'd be a pita.

Think I just removed the filter and put in a warm white led festoon bulb
