"D" pillar headliner trim position

I'm redoing the headliner on my '55 and the holes which mount the "D" pilar headliner trim were bondo'd over way back when we did the resto on this truck (I removed that section so I could weld the sheet metal that is inside the "D" pillar [three layers from factory]). Anyone have a relatively accurate location for this trim piece?
 
about 10mm below the glass? i can take a pic or measure if you like.

If you don't mind that would be great. It's a nasty job, I don't want to do it twice.
 
Here is the D pilar in my 72, it looks similar but not idebtical as I have less beams.
Looks like it is even with the rear window trim.

I believe those are for routing the smog lines between the canisters behind the cargo panels. My 71 have the same holes but with "nice" plugs.

so what do nice plugs look like?
