Been chipping away at this project over the past month or two when I had the time. Here’s a few pictures of what I have so far.

Maybe (okay, probably) a little late to ask the question or make the suggestion... but did you consider mounting the swing-away on the driver's side?

Regardless, it looks great!

Nice! Does it just look like very close to the trunk or is it that close? Some swinging back and forth... ?!?

Edit: and also taking it on/off the carrier...

Yes i did. I did some research looking at photos and seeing what other people had done. Being left hand drive I want to atleast be able to see people traveling behind me. Also I won’t have to swing it out into traffic.

Great color and great job! I did the same for mine! Did you use the EMS Off-road spindle kit? The rest of mine was scrap steel from the office. Roughly $110 in mine total, including powder coat.

I did use the same spindle kit. I was considering getting it powder coated also. I have to look into pricing. Any pics of yours?

Don’t mind the s*** welds, I ran out of gas at 11pm with them shipping to powder the next day, with about 5” of welds left🤦🏼‍♂️
