Hey Guys,
I've been wanting to do a custom exhaust for awhile now to free up some hp out of my 3fe and now I have some motivation with Mo's bumper on it's way. I went to Morse Muffler in Burbank and they wanted $459 for everything (Flowmaster 50 series SUV muffler, piping, and labor). How does that price sound to you guys?

I paid $350 about 1 1/2 years ago for a Magnaflow and new 3" piping from the the cat back.

I recently went back and had them put a glass pack on and drop it a little for the new bumper cost $100.
 
For my FJ62 (same engine), 2 1/2 years ago I paid $650 to re-route the exhaust to inside the frame rail. Dual pipes from the exhaust manifold down to 2 new cats and into 1 new dual-inlet muffler (Magnaflow, IIRC), and new tailpipe, all with a 50k mile warranty. It did improve both the performance and the sound. Ruben, at Awesome Performance in Rancho Santa Margarita (949-858-9898).

It's a hike from the Valley, but Ruben does great work at reasonable prices. Otis (on the 40's board) has used him also.

Funny. I just spoke to that guy about an exhaust system last month. just haven't got the chance to get the truck down to his shop for an estimate.
