Current conditions of Harrison West FSR up to Pemberton?

Hi,
I will be down in the Fraser Valley next weekend and was thinking of taking a more scenic route home to the north. I was thinking of driving the Harrison West FSR up to Sloquet or Skookumchuck hot springs (Sloquet is nice from what google tells me, but I'm not sure it's still up and running), but I have no idea what the snow pack or weather conditions are like down that way this time of year. We would be prepared with camping gear, emergency gear, and provisions, and I have fresh BFG A/T's on my Tacoma but I'd just like to hear if anybody's been up there recently and what shape everything's in. Thanks

I've not done that route, as for snow you should get a good indication of it's levels on the drive down. Have you
considered taking the Duffy Lake Road turnoff just north of Cache Creek and coming into Vancouver that way?
That is nice, and would give you a good idea of conditions. Hard to judge as there are too many gaps in
weather forecasts and info. Unless someone has just been through there to let you know what the actual road
is like.

I was considering taking Duffy Lake Road down, but the reason we are driving down is to be at a specialist's appointment in the early afternoon on Friday so we don't really have a moment to spare. We have lots of time on the way home though, so I think I'm going to prepare for the worst and go for it, and if it's impassible, it shouldn't be impossible to get back the way we came.

I drove it in July - no obstacles - Coastal freezing level is about 1300 m now, which is above the road.

Nahatlatch fire tower got snow a few days ago, higher elevations are starting to get a bit of white. With the temperatures being warm during the day and dropping below zero at night even though the trails might be easy you may encounter some ice on the shady side of the mountains.

I've never seen that road closed because of a snowfall. It's the accumulation of snow that closes that road or a slide. Or a fire or a washout.or a wind storm. The duffy well that's a different story. I've been driving through the high highway passes and it's been snow on the road all over bc the last couple days .
