Wow, 12 years and no one's raised the issue since... Everyone chucked the runners and replaced with sliders?

I recently tried the grip tape but after one session off road it looks terrible, can't get the dirt off the tape.

I saw anti slip sheets with dimples punched through for the first time recently so I thought replicating that by just drilling up through the aluminium running boards and then not cleaning the burrs too much to create a decent tread. Worked beautifully.

On the 100 the boards have little embossed dots on the board that didn't seem to do much even before wearing down.

You just position your drill bit in the recesses and fire away, 2 holes per dot with a 4mm bit.

Its a tedious job, lots of drilling, remember to drill full speed to cool the motor and eye and ear protection
