I bought the Old Iron Off road cup holder for my wifes 74. It fits exactly like it should, the cup holder isnt quite big enough for her double walled water bottle to sit all the way down in it but it will hold it so that is a plus. I would say overall its will serve its purpose.
Unfortunately i would not recommend this thing to anyone. The finish of the product was extremely poor. If my wifes cruiser nice inside i wouldnt even put this thing in there. The overall surface of the cup holder is not smooth and doesn't look finished, there are several places on the outside that looks like it didnt set properly from the printer, the bottom of the holder on the inside has multiple cracks and there are paint runs on it too. Like a said my wife's rig is more of a wheeler with almost no interior so it will work but i was not impressed at all, to be honest i was for the most part disappointed.

not trying to talk smack against the company i have not tried to contact them with my issues, i am just going to deal with it. Just giving my opinion on the product i received that is all. It was for a Land Cruiser i expected a higher quality product. I understand 3D printing is still new and its not perfect.

While I can't speak for the manufacturer (BH3D .... @bhicks), I can speak for one of his distributors (Odd Iron Off Road). If you're not satisfied with the product please contact Odd Iron through their website and I'm confident Rob will do whatever it takes to make you happy.

I'm very sorry your not happy with the cup holder. With any new cup holder there is always a learning curve with finding the right setting for a perfect finish. That cup holder definitely came from one of my first two batches. I have since got the layers, speed, and adhesion settings much more dialed in. I also got the sanding and acetoning process more perfected. It's a very blocky design BUT has a TON of support which is a very weird combo for printing. it has been much more challenging to find that sweet spot in printing then other more curved designs. Most of my more blocky design don't have much if any supports which is why this one presented very unique challenges. We have figured out the right combo for printer settings and prepping and paint. I'm the manufacturer so deal with me and not Odd Iron. I can guarantee Odd Iron and anyone else the all future batches will have a much more finished and smoothed look. It just took time to get it perfected. I probably should have held off on releasing but I was getting a ton of pressure from the 70 guys to get these on the market. I was trying my best to keep everyone happy. To @FJ157 if you are not happy send me a PM and we can work on an exchange. I stand by my product and will make sure you are happy in the end. Post pics and your thoughts on the new version here so folks can see the difference.

A small volume niche product that we are damn lucky to have in the first place.

If you want perfection spend 90 grand on a new 200 Series and call it good.

:)

Fair enough.

I'm gonna go ahead and toss my $.02 in, I think it's a bit shallow you published a blast post without contacting the distributor and/or builder. If you're not satisfied and want super high quality, do as CDan mentioned, or I'll buy you an OEM center console from a JDM Prado from yahoo auctions. I'll have to up charge 50%. $400 should cover that shipped to your door in about 3-4 weeks.

What is this supposed to mean in relation to this discussion?

Most everyone is friendly, or at least amicable. Barring privacy considerations anyone's phone number could be had by another member with three degrees of separation (friend of a friend of a friend).

A good point to highlight, I've never ordered parts with you. We have had our disagreements. But if I saw someone putting you on blast for a hypothetical bad order without taking the due diligence to work the issue with you, I'd tag you and defend you business in kind. Because it's the right thing to do. Especially for such a small and specialized community.
