you flex the pig out a bit too much?

ha ha, guess it's time for a 3-link, huh?

Nah - I don't think the flex caused the break. I was able to easily extend the shock back down to the axle before I removed it. I had travel left over. I hit a small hole (that I didn't see) very hard about an hour before we got to the bald. I remember b/c my wife riding shotgun wasn't too happy with playing ping-pong inside the Pig with her body. I convinced myself that I hadn't broken anything but I ended up needing a small band-aid.

I think I had more flex in the attached pic and didn't break anything there...or maybe there wasn't anything left to break!

You should join us next time Todd. The trails are really close to you!

Yeah, you're going to need to replace that avatar after you learn how to drive it. :D

Nah Steve you did just fine this weekend...better to go out there and learn your vehicle and its capabilities so you are comfortable to take any obstacle that comes your way. It was a great time...until I broke the muffler off of the manifold....duh...should of replaced the motor mount. It was quite a noisy ride home!

I meant to ask you how the ride went. I can't remember right now the couple's name but the couple in the light blue 60 pulled in behind me in Asheville and followed us all the way until I turned off of 25 in TR.

yeah....i had a blast this weekend. The ride home was almost as badass....you don't see a soa piggy doing 60+ down a hwy everyday. Steve I don't know how we managed to run into ya but I enjoyed tailing you all the way back to greenville. You def got some some looks from people. Awesome ride btw.

After I bought your Piggie but hadn't picked her up yet I was reading an old issue of TT before I went to sleep one night. I saw that pic and said to my wife "Look hun, here is what I just bought." She was not impressed!

How did you lay the Piggie over? Yooper told me that you removed the rack after the Piggie took a nap. I'm not going to put a rack back on but will put the spare on the back. I'm thinking about using the IPOR swing-away rack.

I am getting ready to really dive into a semi-restoration of your old Pig - basically stopping the rust, installing bucket seats up front but nothing much mechanical. I have a post in the 55 forum if you want to follow.
