Nice 74. Not sure how long ago you sold it but if it was more then a couple of years ago with same money today you probably tow home one with rust and in pieces for the same money. Watch CL and FJ40 fever has hit AZ. What you would have to give away to get rid of today. starts at $3,500.
 
Going topless, doorless, and having the screen down does have it's pluses at times..:clap:

Even better when no Sawzall is required then top, doors easily bolt back and windshield folds back up. The one thing that sets the 40 series apart from any other Land Cruiser Toyota every imported to the US except for the 25 series.
 
Seen on Scottsdale Rd in Tempe yesterday. Notice the bias-ply tires (bullet-resistant?!) and steelies. Heavy window tint. VX-R badge and v8. The opinion of the experts on Facebook is a Saudi 100 series. I dunno, just noticed it was unusual...
 
That would not surprise me in the least. There is an armored car company in Scottsdale that does business with a lot of high end clients.
