7/70 Toyota added a brake booster to the FJ40 in the US market and was considered the start of the 71 model year.
Very well may a title saying 70 but unless the booster was added it is a 71 model. Some model years like 68-69 are hard to pin down the date the model started. 70-71 was not. Did you notice if the bench seat has the small center section in the middle? 71 was a mix of those that had it and those that didn't. Have a set of seat back section from a 71 as well as a 5/71 I parted.out in the nineties that what was left of the base of the seat could tell it had the small section.
