Hi Copper State Cruisers,

New to AZ and having trouble passing emissions. Do any of you recommend a mechanic to work on an FJ62 to help me pass? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to AZ Dave!

There's a couple ways around it. A there is the obvious take it to a shop and get it dialed in. B if it's a secondary car for you you can get classic car insurance for it which is way cheaper and better. If you do that you can register it as a classic and it becomes emissions exempt.
I know there are a few mechanics with shops on here that can get you squared away relatively cheap if there's nothing major wrong

Thanks Ryan. I drive my truck daily and don't think I can qualify for classic car insurance at this time. Please let me know who you'd recommend to work on my truck.

Thanks!!!

Eric Murphy is a great resource!! Thanks guys! Hope to see you at an event.

Dave
we teamed up and fixed it over the phone  with secret trick. Glad to see 60's and 62's starting to migrate back into the club!
