It's not technically a cruiser, but the show 'How It's Made' documented how the Icon FJ40 replicas are built, season 9 episode 12. I highly recommend watching this show.

Strike Back on Cinemax. They seem to film a lot in South Africa, so there is no shortage of Cruisers. I've seen them in nearly every episode. Its usually 60s, but I've seen 40s, 70s and 80s too. And its not a bad action show.
