Since installing OME heavy/heavy 2/3" springs on my 62, the lean has been very noticeable. I finally got a clear weekend and decided to experiment by swapping springs. I measured the height of the frame at the nearest body mount bracket to both axles, and as it sat the bottom of the frame sat even at the front at 21.25", but the rear measured 24.5" on the left and 25.25" on the right side. Given this I didn't bother swapping the fronts, but went ahead and swapped the rears. After swapping I drove my 62 around town to settle the springs in, and after returning home I measured the rear at 25.125" on the left but weirdly still 25.25" on the right. The lean is negligible now, but strange that the height on the rear right didn't change at all. Both before and after were done with the truck unloaded and a full fuel tank.

As far as the markings on the springs, I thought I had remembered they were marked to differentiate left versus right, so on the chance I had a Redd Foxx "ya big dummy" moment when installing them, I looked before swapping. Unfortunately the markings were worn off so I have no clue if I was correct in the first place or not. Regardless, it does sit much more level now so that's a plus.
