Just so you are aware, the stick figure from last year took me quite a while to put together,it was part of the old school off road logo, which I just cropped and put together, so that part was quick, but if I had to start from scratch, it would mean drawin something, then spending hours tracing it in corel draw. I'm sure you could just scan in a drawing, but it might not be very clear.
Cheers,
Deny

Fair enough, wasn't meaning to insult or diminish your work. I don't know about Corel but Photoshop and Illustrator both have an smart trace tool that works well on sketched items and cuts the work in half. You still have to hand draw it, which depends on the individual as to how long that takes.

Ok, cool. So we've established that its a bunch of work to create the image. And for those of us who don't have the know-how to do this we're eternally grateful that there are some talented and willing folks in the club who will do this.

Back on topic: I'm voting 40!

75 or 79 troopy on black

well done!

not another 40 tshirt for the love of god.....

Been out of the loop, but I thought the last CC 40 logo was the bullseye shirt with the red 40 meatball up front? That was a while back. About time for another methinks. Didn't vote though since I'm not a member any more.

If time is a problem could always do reruns of past favorites. Maybe just change colours to differentiate (shirt or truck). IMO, the 55 shirt comes to mind as worthy of a second chance.

I like Jeff's idea & pic and last years shirt logo, layout and font is my favourite so far. BTW nice job Deny. I'm a less is more kind of guy, but not when it comes to road trips :flipoff2:. Went to this year Rover Landers Founders Day and bought one of their shirts ..... because it was F@#!ng brilliant and I loved it!!! It's nice and simple with a weathered look to the logos. I'm thinking the Coastal Cruiser badge is looking dated. I like the iconic 40, but the honking big mudders got to go, need some skinnier tires with a nice tread pattern so it looks like it's going on a expedition or wheeling. Getting back to Jeff's idea, I think his pic with the different Cruisers in tow would work great as a band across the back of the shirt with just Cruiser Days using actual or similar style of Land Cruiser fonts and nothing else. You could still have the variety of Toyotas in the line up and every year change the lead vehicle, that way every club member's vehicle of choice is represented. Loose the Show and Shine and other badging. Have the small Coastal Cruisers (with new tires) and the Four Wheel Drive Association badges from last year on each sleeve. Would be nice to have a new front CC logo design, so as not to have too much of the same thing. There must be a way to take pictures of vehicles of the finest examples of their model and digitize them like what Jeff did and save them as a file and when there is a change you can kind of like cut and paste them into size and orientation onto some digitized background, so every year we don't have to pick and choose. This doesn't have to be done this year but something to consider?

Thanks, it was previously put together through Old School Off Road, so didn't take too much to put together, just helping out the old club when there were no options last year;)

Well looks like a 40 series it is going to be. I've got a few pics (including a nice one from Rob M) that could be used for it. As for the logos, I think that would require a club vote, I know we looked at that a long time ago and a few ideas were proposed and in the end it was rejected to change the logo, it got updated a bit and cleaned up but the overall design was kept the same. Maybe next meeting or in the member section the club can decided if they want to have it changed and then of course go through the painful process of new design selection. Not going to happen for this year.
The same thing would likely apply to changing the wording on the shirts (getting rid of "show and shine") and the type of logo design (a simplified design of line drawing style without shading/colors or a more complex one).
Again, if anyone else wants to step in and do a design for this year, please let me know, I will send you and necessary files.

June 15 is the deadline for the shirt design. Please and thanks!

Ok, here it is, we are thinking a green coloured shirt.
Thanks to Rob M for the inspiration and photo ;)
