Okay I was hoping to get to tonight's meeting but it was not going to happen. I had hoped to bring up this subject but I'll just post here. Thanks to Kim's efforts, we got approval for Hale shelter's booking on Friday July 17 from 6am to 6pm. (Thanks Kim!) I'm hoping that folks will want to camp and stay until Sunday.
We will be there bright and early to set up and mark off the shelter area, and as well we will have at least 1 person on site the entire day to keep watch, so if you want to bring and set up your trailer before the show, you can leave it parked knowing it will be safe.
So far we have George and myself involved in setting up camp. We'd like to have a nice fire on the go if permissible, and have organized runs set for later that day and Saturday. Of course we don't want to pull people away from the Show itself. The runs that come to mind for Friday are vrock, sunrise, maybe chehalis. Other suggestions? I hear there's some slightly more challenging trails in the vicinity, and we could consider these for Saturday. Also, circle routes would be awesome. Post your replies for suggested runs here.
Thanks!

but i rather be known for my calculated forward thinking.
i guess its ok to do a run within a run but if you plan to do a run in the middle of the two you are doing, you will end up in limbo.
