Since the forecast is rain, do we have a plan in case the weatherman is actually correct? Or more importantly is it going to affect anything negatively? I know the kid's fun castle thing is open roof, the rest we have a shelter for and the trucks don't care but it likely will affect attendance.

i'm going to guess and say the rain wont be so bad. (hopefuly)

so do you have to show up right at 10 am or can you be a little late? also can you leave early?:)

Show starts at 10, arrive at your leisure, you can leave any time, but you have to be present for the raffle to win a prize of course. Raffle is at 2:30ish.

Not sure how bad the rain will be, but the show is ON, so come on out, there is LOTS of room under the covered area with about 10 picnic tables, etc.

Besides, who ever said a 4WD club was afraid of a little rain? This isn't a British Car show, you know (incidentally, I'm going to one on Sunday in Willichack)

Bouncy castle has been cancelled due to rain forecast as they shouldn't be set up in the rain. Sorry kids, but on the bright side, there is a scavenger hunt again this year with easier questions so Steiger won't get stumped like last year. (before he wins the fridge...groan) ;)

Ironman Fridge so you can do a comparison with the ARB you won.

ok good to know you can show up anytime. i'm actually a bit exited about the rain. going to test out the camper. its supposed to be rated for any rain/snow storm.

so who else is going camping?

So far, it's dry out here in the valley this morning! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

A very successful show, the rain held off for the most part.

120+ registered trucks,

Best in Show prize went to a beautiful 1985 4Runner with collector plates.

Worst in Show prize went to Brad Reid's 81 BJ42 probably because he told everyone NOT to vote for his truck!

Fridge went to John from Peachland (he won best-in-show last year and yes, he already has a fridge!)

Sold out of M and L T-shirtts, still have lots of XL's, S's, and 2XL's for the August Meeting

Big thank-you to our hard-working volunteers who helped make the show a success. It's catching on in the 4WD community and is growing every year.

Had a great time as always. Thanks to all that organized this!

Really wanted to be there but was on the other side of the province :(.

If I can meet up with Rob on Thursday I can MUDship one out to you, I'll be in Vernon for a few days starting on Thursday

That would be great. I'll ask Rob if he prefers Paypal or I give you cash. Will let you know

Paypal me $25 when you receive the shirt from Phil, that would be easiest.

Wow.. that was fast! Cash it is!
Thx - F
