I recently purchased some Cruiser Corps rear jump seat covers for my '78 FJ40. My question is that they don't come with the wire installed around the edges like my previous ones. Do i just put the screws through the doubled up vinyl around the edges are make cuts in the ends to install wire? Wasn't sure if the vinyl itself is strong enough once you pull the vinyl tight. I've searched on the forum and haven't found a good installation tutorial or video on youtube. Appreciate the help in advance.

You definitely want to add the wire to to keep everything tight
I used the SOR kit when redoing my rear jump seats which came with the wire. But you can probably find the wire at a hardware store if the Cruiser Corps covers dont come with it. Here is the instruction guide from SOR that may help you out: https://www.sor.com/sorPDF_inst/311-7340.pdf

I added baling wire to mine. I believe I purchased it from one of the big box hardware stores. There was a very good step by step guideline here that I ended up following. Overall the Cruiser Corps seat covers are really nice, fit great, and provided a smooth installation.

I'll run to Tractor Supply and get some wire to put in there. I thought it was weird they the ends were sewed up on this kit. I'll have to make some cuts to get the wire in there, but no big deal. Appreciate the SOR instructions. Those will help! Overall the quality of the seat covers looks great.
