That may overload the trailer axles, I need to get all the vehicle to my place and load them and go to the scales once we have the trailer ready, which will be another thread. If some one with a 40 wants the space and you are willing to drive that might work out better.
finally got my confirmation Email...they only have me registered for the thursday ride..so emailing them to clear it up...

As you well know I have many issues and this appears to be one of them. I'll talk with the others going but I think we were planning on staying a full two weeks.
Talked to Spanky today and he still has a space or two left on his truck.
hmm, I've already swapped my schedule so much to get to everything through June, I'm kinda at a point where I can't ask for more 
But I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see what I can finagle...
I'll also look at flights on weds/thurs and see whats available.
Any chance we could leave Sat 25?
In other news, I'm free the weekend before, so loading won't be an issue, and I plan on coming up this week to clean up the 40 and check over a few things, not sure when, but no worries, if your there great! If not...oh well

Here is what I am looking at, Rob has to work a kids fishing day on Friday 24 Apr. and will not get off work until late Friday evening in East TN, so leaving on Saturday is pushing it, might happen if the stars align properly. We originally wanted to spend two weeks in Moab but dropped that back to 12 days so everyone could be back to work on Monday May 11th, which has us leaving Moab on Saturday the 9 th.

Another wild card, Clutchee is talking about flying out and riding shotgun with one of us, so depending on his schedule there could be a rental car going to the airport.

One way Flights on Wed/Thurs to BNA are running between 100 and 150 bucks with one stop, so I could easily leave on thursday, assuming I could find my way to the airport. I'd need to drop my car at the airport before we leave, but since we're taking 40 it shouldn't be that big a deal if Marius can pick me up...might also be able to find somewhere to leave it in Nashville and have a friend pick me up at the airport...Flights to CHA are way more expensive with 2+ stops

What about ATL? I usually see shuttles that go from ATL to Chatt when I am at the airport. There might be some flight options that may make the shuttle worth the hassle.

Marius just PM'd me and I don't think he is going to join our trailer group, as he wants to do some touring on way back, so we have a space left on the trailer, we need a 4 th vehicle to share the fuel bill.
Roger, I'd give it a week or so for the locals and then let solicit on the other clubhouses...

We still have one space left on the trailer, if no one from the club wants it , I will advertise it in the events section of MUD. If you want to go let me know ASAP. Spanky's passenger, Dennis, is flying out from Ohio on Delta and the flight stops in Nashville, so if you want to fly out you could share a rental car with him. You also don't have to stay the full 12 days, you could fly back early if time is an issue.
Roger, do you know any of the details on the return flight for Dennis? What airport is he flying out of and the details of his return flight. Also, I saw where registration is closed. Is thete any way to register another rig or are you just gona run outlaw? I'd still love to throw my rig on the trailer and ride outthere with you guys but the getting home, and registering thisg are problems for me.

I don't know if they have made Dennis's reservation yet, I'll post the details when I have them. The airport at Grand Junction, CO is only 112 miles from Moab so we can work out transportation for you.
You can put your name on the CM waiting list, and tell them you are coming with us, there will be lots of people there that are not registered and we have a group of our own to ride so we don't have to go with them. It would be great to have you join us.

I'll need to get my rig licensed and insured, extra fuel capacity, somewhere ti crash with my tent-cot, and stand-by registration? You can swing through my neck of the woods and pick me and my rig up? I might just be able to swing this!
Edit: how tough is the tech inspection? I have no horn, wipers, or turn signals. Line locks front/rear for parking brake. Will I get through?

We'll find you a ride or I'll take you to the airport in the little Red truck, the trailer will be off as I don't think it will fit in the campground.
We have 2 large RV spaces reserved, plenty of room for your tent.
You will probably fail tech
, so you will not be able to go on their guided ride, but we were planning on running our own group anyway.
OK - sent an email request to be included on the standby list. Got my windshield back on and wipers working, horn (sorta),coolant recovery bottle mounted, checked my left arm for proper function of the turn signals too. Still can't do anything about the line locks/parking brake thing. It'll have to do. Gonna book my return flight tomorrow and start working on getting it insured and licensed again (what a waste of good money if you ask me). Anything else I can do for now Roger?

Sounds like you have got it covered. Talked to Spanky, he is going to try to make Dennis's return flight on the 5th.
