Awesome stuff Kevin...... we were in the Moab Diner when that storm rolled in and friends of ours were on that road with all the switchbacks that you show in your pics...... they were in a Yellow Rubicon, you may have seen them?

Didn't see them? Heeps are often referred as sheep, because there are about a billion of them that all look the same, so unless they were doing something really dumb, wouldn't have noticed. :D

:lol:well they were running the switchbacks in the pouring rain and hail?

We weren't there for that silliness, if it had still been wet and snotty in the afternoon, we would have gone out another way.:princess:

Sunday, on the way home, we made it to Blanding and decided we hadn’t seen enough of Comb Ridge, so made the right onto 95 and went to Natural Bridges. Had never been there, pretty cool place. There are some good short hike opportunities, to the bottom of the bridges, a ruin, but we didn't have time.

The first on the loop is Sipapu Bridge, one of the largest in the world.

You guys should've hiked down to the bridges it's well worth it.

You would've got to climb down one of these :

I have a couple more pictures, my brother and I went out on Saturday to Long Canyon. its a easy road, less than hour drive, but pretty cool. I just wanted to see the rock you drive underneath that I saw in the trail book.

Wanted to hike down. We went on a whim on the way home. Didn't have the time or energy:crybaby:. Its on the must see again list.

Actually, the funniest part of that excursion was the expression on the faces of the German tourists at bridge #1 when I walked up to the overlook, clicked off three shots of the bridge, and turned around to walk back.

That wasn't the funny part: About the time you were walking back, Claudia and us arrived the German tourists were talking, Claudia started talking to them in German. On the way back to the rigs she interpreted for us. It went something like; they were saying that's how Americans appreciate, don't take the time to enjoy nature, then Claudia says, that's fine, but he's German!

The best part was when Claudia said, "we gotta get out of hear, there's too many :censor: Germans.":lol:
