All,

I have a 2001 LC100 that had quite a bit of neglect before I got it. I am chasing down issues as I go, one that is not a problem is that my cruise control does not function. I do have an aftermarket cobra keyless entry and remote start system, the shop that did it told me that nothing they did would effect the CC (cruise control) system. I have checked all fuses and none are blown.

Symptoms: no matter what I do when I engage the CC it won't even turn the light on the dash on. If I ignore the light on the dash (as if the bulb was out) it still will not engage at any speed. Brake fluid is fine, everything else works in the engine bay and electronics.

This is not a huge problem since I my wife's 2020 V60 Cross Country is our family roadtrip car but the fact that I dont have have CC really bothers me and would be nice for my trips to the VA or other longer around town trips.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

The light on the dash will light up when cruise is turned on, not just when the cruise is actually set. If you cant even get the light to illuminate, Id prob start with checking the connections in the steering wheel to make sure they're actually connected
