Cruise Control HDJ81 (1 Viewer)

Is it my imagination or do all 81's have a lousy cruise control. I've driven three so far and they all sucked, kicking out and hard to set. Anyhow, does anyone have a recommendation on an aftermarket one to put in or a tip on how to adjust it if even possible inlcuding the govenor.

My cruise works great. No issues.
Easy to set, and rarely kicks out.
Maybe twice in 6 months.
Happens when hit a hard bump on the highway and my break pedal jiggles a little.

If yours is kicking out, maybe your brake pedal is loose.
That would cause it to kick out.
As for setting issues, I am not sure what you mean.
Could you elaborate?

As far as the govener. I know its set to 109kph, which is fine for me.
Especially because with my tires 109kph is about 117kph.
No way to adjust it as far as I know.
I am sure you could adjust it, I just don't know how.

I've had the same experience as Nick. No problems with my cruise at all.

Might be a result of a loose brake pedal.
I would start there.

I find with mine that you have to hold the stick back for a few seconds for it to engage - as opposed to just flicking it.
